Our Story: From Indie to Infrastructure

Finsel DGI started with a single realization: building in Africa is hard because the “rails” are missing. We spent our early years as indie engineers building tools like pasby to solve our own problems with identity and trust.

Today, we’ve formalized that process. We operate as a venture studio that acts as a “Permanent Capital Vehicle” for African software. We take the infrastructure we’ve built and hand the keys to the continent’s most talented indie engineers.

We aren’t a traditional firm. We are a factory where the infrastructure is already laid, the legal is already solved, and the only thing left to do is build.

We operate at the intersection of infrastructure and independence. Our studio provides the “OS”—led by the pasby protocol—and our partners build the services that power the market.
